Never Gonna Be The Same Video
Sean Paul shoots video for Never Gonna Be The Same in Standpipe
Sean Paul recently completed the video for his next single Never Gonna Be The Same. The song, which peaked at number ten on the pop chart in France, is taken from his latest album The Trinity.
Never Gonna Be The Same is dedicated to Sean's slain comrade, Daddigan. The video was directed by Jesse Terrero and Ras Kassa. Scenes were shot in sections of Kingston including the StandPipe area. According to a source who was on location at the shoot, "We got mixed reactions from the people in the community about filming in their area. Most invested their energy into schemes for making as much money out of our presence as possible.
However, for the most part the production only attracted a large peaceful crowd. The only disturbances was when a mad woman ran screaming into the frame while Sean was performing, and another woman demanding payment when they were filming in someone's yard which the crew had gotten permission to use."
